Livingston Designer Outlet is going to extend the use of Proximity marketing after a successful four month trial period which saw 30% of shoppers make use of the service.
The project has been run in conjunction with Hypertag, a provider of proximity marketing solutions. Bluetooth has been installed at key locations and sends out special offers directly to shopper’s mobile phones as they walk past and through the outlet. The digital content works with most mobile phones and receiving a download is both free and optional.
