Ford is using a mixture of experiential and outdoor media to bring golf into railway stations across the UK to promote its latest model.

Titan Outdoor and Mindshare have developed the interactive campaign to showcase the new Ford Mondeo Titanium X Sport.

Over five days, Titan is using its exhibition sites on concourses and Transvision digital screens to give commuters a chance to compete against each other in an interactive virtual golf game. The game is being shown on a 42 inch LCD screen, testing how far the competitor can hit the golf ball. Transvision displays the top-scoring performers’ names on a leader board.

The highest scorer at each station wins a set of premium golf clubs. Ford-branded tee packs are also being handed out to commuters.

The Titan Experience team managed the project from inception to completion, providing the staff, merchandise and exhibition stand complete with components.

Stephen Dunn, Titan UK group sales director said: “This is a great demonstration of how the Titan Experience team can create and manage an innovative and striking campaign from beginning to end.

“With Transvision and our exhibition sites, we have the ability to bring campaigns to life in a way no other outdoor advertisers can match.”

Planning was organised by Mindshare and Kinetic.
